Our Ambassador Polly Williamson went to Dauntsey’s school on Friday 5th July to talk to the Lower Sixth as part of their Complementary Curriculum programme on the last day of the school year.
Having just completed their first year of A-levels, the school hoped the talk would inspire them, as some of them might be feeling defeated by their work load and exam pressures. Polly’s determination to overcome her brain injury should motivate them to persevere and not give up.
Polly says, 'Phew! My talk at Dauntsey’s school seemed to go well. A few laughs and lots of questions at the end. I admit to being scared of talking to a bunch of 17/18 year olds ........ but hopefully next time (Rendcombe College in Jan) I can take it in my stride…. ‘live, love, laugh’ and what a great moto for us all to live by.’
A huge thank you from us all for bringing awareness of brain injury on our behalf and thank you to Dauntsey’s for their support this year.
