"My beautiful daughter often wore a flower in her hair and so to honour her we all wore flowers to her funeral and memorial service.
We continue to wear them to spread her message of 'live love laugh' and raise awareness for The Jemima Layzell Trust." Sophy Layzell
Please use #wearaflower as the main hashtag, and #jemimalayzell to help us find you, so we can thank you and re-tweet you.
If you would like us to add your picture to our growing collections please email us.
People have asked for help with text to accompany their selfie but it's usually best if you make it personal to you. But if you get stuck we sugguest the following:
I support the #JemimaLayzell Trust and #wearaflower to:
Encourage organ donation so that more lives can be saved.
Help educate people about injury.
Text MIMA14 then the amount to 70070
I challenge (tag in your friends) to show support for the Jemima Layzell Trust too!
Join us several ways by either:
Planning a Wear a Flower event
Maybe just a day at work/school with everyone wearing flowers in their hair for the day and donating a couple of quid each.
Or as a flower themed fete: I'm sure you can think of loads of ways you could incorporate flowers into your fundraising stalls!
Coffee morning or dinner party with floral theme.
Post a selfie
Show your support for the Trust by taking a photo of yourself wearing a flower and posting it on social media. Tweet it, Instagram it and Facebook it if you have those platforms...the more people you can reach the better. Don't forget to use hashtags so we can find you.
Don't forget to DONATE and tag your friends in! Set them the challenge of joining in.
